Wearever Zenith Blue

Here I have today- a  Navy blue example of the Wearever Zenith. This pen had been in an attic in Louisiana for years when I found it, and there is a slight bend in the pen towards the end of the pen, and there are some scuffs on the pen but there are no cracks or large scratches.
Both of the Jewels are intact.

The nib on this pen is great- its a semi-flex 14k gold fine nib, and on the underside it has the clear "c-fill" feed. You can see this in the pictures- I tested the pen with blue ink.

Not a perfect pen by any means, but a good opportunity to get some vintage semi-flexiness.

Yours for $15+ $5.80 for Priority mail shipping.
There is a one year workmanship warranty on my pens. If there are any issues with my workmanship- such as the sac- I will fix it. This does not include problems from user error such as bad pen hygiene, the buyer disassembling the pen, issues with the mechanics or materials of the pen, the buyer dropping the pen, user error or any other issue by my own discretion.
In the U.S. I use Priority mail flat rate boxes for my pens because they come with tracking and $50 worth of insurance. If you want a different method, please contact me.
International buyers, please contact for shipping quote.

Please don't hesitate to contact me at  regarding more information or pictures!
First "I'll take it" gets the pen, regardless of other conversations.

Eversharp Fifth Avenue

Eversharp Fifth Avenue fountain pen in dubonnet red (burgundy) with a smoooth medium/broad 14k nib.
These pens didn't sell too well back in the day, and while an interesting design intellectually, the look just was not what the public was looking for in a pen at that time.

This example does have it's issues, there is some show through on the cap (which may not be original) and there is a small amount of wear around the edges of the lever. There are no major scratches on this pen.

This pen is $18+$5.80 for Priority mail shipping in the U.S.

Esterbrook SJ Grey

3. Esterbrook SJ size in Grey plastic.
Again, apart from some chipping in the Jewels, this pen is almost faultless.

Really, when you consider it, for $20+$5.80 for shipping , this pen is a steal-especially as I let you choose the nib you want! Contact me for what's available!

Sterling Silver Sheaffer Triumph with Free Ink

I just found this gorgeous  Stickered Sterling Silver Sheaffer Imperial pen and pencil set with a 14k inlaid nib, and man, is it pretty or what?

You know what's better? I'm pretty sure the pen has never been used. I could not find any hint of ink in the pen, and the fact that the sticker is still on the pen seems to be a fairly good testament to that!

Eversharp Symphony

This is a pen that I'm not 100%sure about it's identification. I believe that it is an Eversharp Symphony, but there are no identifying features to mark the pen, and it doesn't seem to have a gold nib that I would expect a Symphony to have.

Nevertheless, this is a solid pen, and one that would be a great daily user. The burgundy plastic is pockmarked in places, and there is some trim wear, but none of this affects the writability (is that a word?) of this pen.

You can have it for only $15+$5.80 for shipping priority mail.

Parker 21 For Sale

Parker 21 fountain pen.

Designed to capitalize on the aesthetics of its big brother, the Parker "51" while being cheaper,  this pen is one that seems to be overlooked in my opinion.

If someone were to ask me what the perfect starter vintage pen would be, this or the lowly Sheaffer School pen would be my to first recommendations, depending on the look the person prefers.

A great writer, and one dependable pen this is a *great* daily writer or take to work pen. Inexpensive enough, but a solid performer day in and day out.

Parker Striped Duofold Blue 1942 3rd Quarter

1942 third quarter Blue Parker Striped Duofold.
The pen performs is a very nice writer, one that I used personally for a while.
I would definitely say that it is in user-grade condition.
The cap band is brassed and loose, and the clip is brassed as well. The barrel is transparent, but it is well ambered. The bling cap threads are a bit worn, and it will snap if you tighten down the bling cap too much.
None of these things are really as bad as they sound, but I believe in full disclosure.

I have fully gone through the pen and it has a new diaphragm and is ready to use and a knockabout pen. One that you can use and abuse and not have to worry about messing it up, while still having the pleasure of writing with a 72 year old pen.

Starting a Blog

Well, branching out has been something that I have been meaning to do. Short of starting a whole website, a blog in which I sell my pens seems to be a logical progression of thought.

Blogging is definitely something that I had never considered doing- frankly I scoffed at the idea. It's funny how things change, isn't it!

Never having done this before, things probably won't be too coherent for a while, but I'll be working on this as I go.
I will be experimenting with formats to see what is the most effective strategy, and I look forward to seeing how things change and adapt.
My first several posts will most likely be pens I am putting up for sale that I have restored and inks that I have. From there, we'll see where things go.

Thanks for bearing with me,
